JoAnn has been a contributing member of the veterinary community since 2001. She graduated from SUNY Delhi and received her degree in Veterinary Technology and her Veterinary Technician License in 2006. JoAnn joined our team at Malta Animal Hospital in August of 2010. She brings her diverse experience in veterinary care to each client and patient. This is JoAnn's dream job, and she strives each day to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care available.
JoAnn's veterinary interests include cardiology, radiology, oncology, critical care, orthopedic surgery, and rehabilitation. She especially enjoys working with grumpy geriatric cats!!
Outside of work JoAnn enjoys spending time with her family (two and four-legged!) She has a shelter rescue Rhodesian Ridgeback named Bubba, a geriatric cancer survivor cat named Simon, and two shelter rescued Maine Coons named Felix and Milo. She also enjoys photography and music. |

Robin received her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Wells College. After working for several years at the Cornell University/New York State Diagnostic Laboratory and becoming a veterinary assistant, she returned to school. Robin received her Veterinary Technician degree from SUNY Delhi College of Technology in 2004 and has been with us since. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, her favorite aspects of her job at Malta Animal Hospital are patient comfort, geriatric care, and daily interactions with clients and their pets. Robin and her fiance Victor share their home with 5 rescued cats and 3 rescued dogs. In her spare time she is a dedicated ballroom dancer, yogi, and a member of the New York State Association for Veterinary Technicians. Everyday she is doing what she loves, making a difference in the lives of pets and their people! |

Veronica received her Veterinary Technical degree from SUNY Canton in May 2008. Veronica has always been committed to her chosen career as a veterinary technician, and has been working in the veterinary field since early 2005. This has given her drive and ability unusual in someone her age. Veronica enjoys working with all animals, and she also enjoys the technical aspect of veterinary medicine. In her free time, Veronica enjoys soccer, horseback riding, snow boarding, hiking, and anything outside. |

Marilyn has been with our family since the fall of 2008. She brings over 16 years of professional animal care experience to Malta Animal Hospital. She graduated from Suny Cobleskill with an associate's degree in Animal Science. Marilyn especially loves those "big dogs" and rabbits that come into our practice. While here she will take care of your pets as if they were her own. She likes to spend her free time with her furry family (2 dogs and 3 cats) as well as her husband and two beautiful children. |

Peggy joined the Malta Animal Hospital family in the spring of 2009. Originally from Ohio, Peggy moved to the Capital District in 1987. Peggy's passion for working with both pets and their human companions stems from gaining her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Kent State University. She brings compassion, understanding, and empathy in her interactions with clients and pets during both happy and difficult times. Peggy is a lover of the German Shepherd breed, and has spent her life rescuing German Shepherds in need, including her wonderful dog Jefferson. Peggy loves spending time with her family, especially her two sons. |
