During our normal operating hours, we promise to handle emergency cases as promptly and thoroughly as possible.  Please call (518) 885-2550 to advise us of your emergency so we can be ready for your pet's arrival.

Emergency cases will be triaged and handled according to their urgency & severity (ie those with more urgent concerns will be handled first).  Please understand that emergency situations may require that we reschedule or reassign previously scheduled appointments, and that we'll dedicate appropriate resources where they are needed most.

A Malta Animal Hospital veterinarian or technician carries a pager for those after-hours situations where a brief consult or question may be helpful (even if it is to help decide whether a trip to the emergency clinic is warranted).  To page a staff member, simply call our main line at (518) 885-2550, and follow the prompts.  For your convenience, we provide prompts to reach the emergency clinics above from the main line after-hours as well.
